Sindh govt busy to promote culture, kids are dying of hunger: Imran Khan. PTI Chairman Imran Khan has expressed concern over the plight of civilians in drought-hit Thar Parker by targeting the Sindh government’s criminal negligence and incompetence.
He said that federal government remain busy in dancing activities on name of promoting Sindhi culture while kids are dying of hunger.
He further said that federal government is responsible for the worst tragedy born in Tharparkar, more than hundred civilians became victim of worst situation due to the government’s administrative incompetence. Imaran Khan urges to take action against Sindh food department and officers of local administration.
Tharparkar drought: victims start migration toward other places. Tharparkar victims have started to move toward other places due to worst drought and diseases.
The people are forced to shift on other places due to drought and Govt apathy. Patient’s toll in hospitals has also reached on alarming level, 375 kids were brought in Muthi hospital in 24 hours for medical aid, mothers are praying for the lives of their kids.
In this situation the government has assured the relief to victims but his aid yet not reached in those areas. Victims said that how they can afford the treatment of their sick childes? Even they have nothing to eat.
On other hand, Sharjeel Memon the Information Minister of Sindh said that mostly kids has died due to sever cold not by drought in Thar.
Road accident in Karachi, 7 injured. Traffic accident occurred at Super Highway near Dumba Goth in Karachi in which the result of 7 people wounded.
According to resources van collided into Rickshaw in which seven people were sustained injuries. 2 women and 5 men are included in injured people.
All injured people have been shifted to hospital near Super Highway Tool Plaza for medical aid.
18- Inch diameter gas pipeline blown up near Kashmore. According to resources, 18-Inch diameter gas pipeline has blown up near Tangwani the area of Kashmore.
Gas supply in various parts of Sindh has been suspended due to blast. According to police eighteen inch diameter pipeline supplying gas from Sui to Karachi has blown up at Goth Mukhi in Tangwani.
The police and rangers haves surrounded the area after incident and have started investigations. According to resources banned Baloch republican Army has claimed the responsibility of this incident.
Anti polio campaign: Motorcycle riding banned in 24 UCs of Karachi. Restriction has imposed on motorcycle riding during Anti Polio campaign at 24 union councils in Karachi today. Restriction will be effective from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM for the security purpose during campaign.
Motorcycle riding will be banned in Gadap Town’s UC-4 Gujro, UC-5 Snowgul and UC-8 Manghopir; Orangi Town’s UC-1 Mominabad, UC-13 Baloch Goth and UC-2 Haryana Colony; Site Town’s UC-7 Banaras, UC-8 Qasba Colony and UC-9 Islamia Colony; Bin Qasim’s UC-2 Rehri Goth, UC-3 Bhains Colony and UC-4 Quaidabad Gulshan-e-Iqbal’s UC-10 Pahalwan Goth, UC-11 Metroville, UC-12 Gulzar Hijri and UC-13 Safoora Goth; Baldia Town’s UC-1 Gulshan-e-Ghazi, UC-2 Ittehad Town, UC-3 Islam Nagar and UC-4 Naalabadi; Landhi Town’s UC-1 Muzaffarabad and UC-2 Muslimabad, Saddar Town’s UC-9 Civil Lines; and in Gulberg Town’s UC-8 Shafiq Mahal.
Pakistan gave target of 261runs in 50overs against Sri Lanka in Asia Cup Final 2014. Pakistani batsmen Fawad Alam and Umar Akmal remained top scorer with 114runs and 59runs respectively. Sri Lankan bowler Malinga took 5 wickets. Now Sri Lanka has to chase the target of 261runs in 50overs.
Commissioner & Deputy Commissioner of Mirpurkhas & Tharparkar dismissed. Sindh government has dismissed Commissioner Mirpur Khas and Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar from their posts, and has issued notification in this regard.
According to notification Sajid Jamal Abro is appointed as commissionr of Mirpur Khas while Asif Ikram has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Tharparkar.

Minimum and maximum temperature in Karachi is expected to remain 17 and 32 degree centigrade respectively today.
Pakistan would have to make minimum 250 runs for victory: Rashid Latif. Former captain of National cricket team and PCB chief selector Rashid Latif have said that Pakistan would have to make more than 250 runs for victory in Asia Cup 2014.
Rashif Latif further said that Pakistan can easily win the match if responsible batting will be showed by them. He said that 250 or 270 runs will be a good target for Sri Lanka.
Rashid Latif further said that Shahid Afridi is on the best form of his career and hope he will repeat his good performance of prior matches today also.
Society progress without women’s rights is impossible: Shahbaz Sharif. Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that society cannot be on the path of progress without giving rights to their women.
Shehbaz Sharif has said on the occasion of International Women’s Day that society cannot get progress by ignoring their women rights.
He said we should be determined for the protection of women’s right. He added that Punjab government has taken many revolutionary steps for the protection of women’s right, and it’s our duty to make our women’s strong so that they can play their important role in progress of country.
Pakistan Women’s Day is being observed across Pakistan today and various events are organized to highlight the women’s right today in various parts of country.
